[WISPA] Ethernet Extenders

Can anyone offer any experiences with ethernet extenders? We are looking 
for an alternative to wireless backhaul in one of our ILEC towns. We own 
the copper and are looking to go up to 1 mile. We have looked at VDSL as 
an alternative also. This particular application requires 20mb/s 
full-duplex.

Any knowledge or advise is appreciated.
