We made the date. Yeehaw! It was quite a feat and we have done it with
backward capability even with new CPE in "old" sectors, which is huge.
This is a big advantage for BreezeACCESS VL 5.3 GHz users and it
demonstrates once again our long term commitment to protect the
investment of our WISPs. It also means customers do not have to suffer
any meaningful delay. Excuse my excitement; it is just a reflection of
pride in the work done by our product team. The easy route would have
been to wait for a new chip, then make new hardware. Instead, we made a
customer-centric decision that we do not want to strand networks and we
went and did what no other company has done -- go into the chip and
develop new code...and deliver it in time. The previous assumption was
that it was going to be impossible to do DSF2 on the existing chip set.
