We used MRTG, then later RRD to capture and graph all network
functions, e.g.

CPE: RSSI, LQ, traffic

APs: traffic (all ports)

PtP links: traffic, RSSI, QAM encoding levels

UPS: battery charge, input V, output load, projected runtime

Routers & switches: traffic (all ports)
