Does the x86 exchange with the non-main router? If it can route to it, they should exchange. If it doesn't, check all the settings on the x86 again. Area number is good. Router number is unique. Authentication is correct. Any of those can make it not work. You could turn on OSPF in logging and see what shows up in the log. Might point to the problem.
