2. is not actually correct. They have a couple of levels of pay service, depending on number of actual hotspot gateways (routers) you have. The monthly cost is very low. Their service is great- we have used them since they began and I have visited their office twice.
They process payments for you through Paypal or Authorize.net (we use this) and Wireless Orbit does not take a cut of any of your money like all the others do.
