Agreed, Radio Mobile has a slight learning curve, but nothing really unusual.
I'd also take a look into Cameron Crum's www.wispmon.com application. Among many, many features he has a really nice profiler built-in now. I've been a Radio Mobile user for years, but have grown to really like the profiler Cameron has integrated into his Wispmon program. Radio Mobile is probably the best free tool you're gonna get, and once set up, works pretty well. (The trickiest part probably is getting the terrain data you need, but you only have to do that once.)
