I built one using Zotac Ion motherboard. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813500029&cm_re=ion-_-13-500-029-_-Product
Complete price was just over $200. Running eval of Win7 currently. Works pretty well for Hulu & Netflix WatchNow. (hoping for better flash drivers that will do hardware support of GPU, maybe they are out now?) I have XBMC on a USB stick that should work similarly for an free OS.
