The government caters/renders to money/Caesar , not to people/God. Like Bobs says, innovation and development took place and took wireless faster and farther with the governments so called junk bands. Now they see the dollar signs and only a few, the proud, the super rich will get the spectrum. If only physics would change the ISM band or some new algorithm for use in those and available to, dare I say, the not super rich, we would be happier than a gopher in soft dirt.
