Had a storm last night, woke up, part of the network down. I figure the common connection there is a 5 port switch the good section hits before it's lost. I go out with a replacement switch, climb up on the grain bin, open the box.... one of those spiders that make the tube web.. Living in port number 4. Somehow messed up the switch. Nema box but he got in somehow, probably snuck in when I had it open last time. I was expecting fried components due to all the lightning but it was all due to one, now dead, spider.
