Agriculture Secretary Vilsack to Hold Conference Call TODAY to Discuss the
Impact of Broadband Investments in Rural America 

WASHINGTON, June 9, 2010 - TODAY, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will
host a media conference call to discuss the impact and importance of
broadband funding in rural communities. Vilsack will highlight the impact of
investments made through Round 1 funding of the American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act), as well as what is possible in Round 2, as
USDA releases a report detailing investments made to date.
