5ghz is a pure LOS in most situations - especially w/ UBNT stuff

Why would UBNT stuff be any different from other stuff? Trees don't care about the label on the radio.

I am thinking more and more about those UBNT 900 MHz sectors, though. The challenge is backhaul. Maybe 2.4 will penetrate a little.

Has anyone played with RadioMobile to tune up its ground cover numbers to come closer to reality, in the 900 to 5.8 bands? I'm thinking that at least double the default tree loss would be right for the woods, but maybe even that's not enough.
