We did a 50/50 Referral Program for our Customers... $50 for the person Referring $50 for the person being referred.
You can change the amount to suit. Our logic was, both sides should get the incentive, especially when folks were referring friends, or professionals referring others. There is no one sided guilt.... either both sides got the discount or no-one ! ...
