Could have gotten hypothermia and shed his clothes.     Weird that your body
reacts that way but it does.

Yea, right, a guy climbed 1,000' in his undies and a T-shirt, in the cold of
Michigan.  Something doesn't add up.  I guess he could undress once he got
to the top, but the story doesn't add up.
