Here is UBNT's famous "beanstalk" illustration for powering devices off a
Nanostation's secondary LAN port:
http://wiki.ubnt.com/BeansTalk_PoE_bridge

Known caveats about the secondary POE feature, especially for older radios
where you've not used that feature before:

- Some of the Nanos, from my experience those with 00:15:... MAC address,
had a BOM error that would cause the FET gating power to the 2nd LAN port
to burn through, such that secondary POE power became stuck on. Trying to
toggle secondary POE via the UI after such a burn-through might put the
device into a ~30sec reboot loop.

- A small batch of Nanos also had a similar manufacturing error, but where
toggling the secondary POE would brick the radio irrevocably..

I've learned the hard way to first verify a particular Nano's secondary POE
on the bench as a smoke test. If you get smoke, you'll need another Nano
and RMA the old radio.
