Subject: [WISPA] High-Rise Building Rooftop Grounding

We are quoting the installation of two 5ft tall Non-Pen mounts with some small
dish antennas as part of a security camera project. I am trying to determine
what is required by code for grounding these masts and the cat5 lines to the
radios where they enter the rooftop mechanical building.

It is an older 10-story apartment tower. I did not pay very close attention to
grounding when I was on site, I do not believe there is any sort of lightning
rod system. There is an elevator mechanical room on the roof, where we will be
installing a small POE switch to power the APs. Hoping someone on the list has
done this before and can tell me what is required.
