Brandon from Ubiquiti here.

We've seen a slew of installs w/ hotels and w/ the low power of the UAP-IW
performance seems fine. Keep in mind for sure that the best throughput you
can expect out of these is ~20-30mbps.

These are intended for situations where they'd be installed in each hotel
room (they're low Tx power) and for for lower-throughput needs. I'd
recommend these for installs where single-customer throughput is 5mbps or
less.

The comments about 2.4GHz-only installs are spot on. The low Tx power of
the UAP-IW helps a lot here, as the cells are small, and little signal gets
outside of a given room, but performance will of course be well below a
dual-band model. As above, for installs where ~5mbps is what customer will
need (on average), I think these will be OK.

For higher throughput we also have a UAP-AC-IW coming out late this year.
These will be good for ~250mbps per user.

Cheers,
Brandon
