All:

First of all, is this the correct list to ask this question? If it is not,
please direct me to the correct list.

Here's the real question:

Background

I have a new tower to install. There is no equipment on the
tower yet.

The tower is 1000 ft tall, buy I will be mounting equipment at
200 ft.

There is a 100 ft bridge from the base of the tower into the
head end where my cabinet is located.

                            200 ft + 100 ft = 300 ft

I will mount 6 x ePMP 1000 on 3 x KP Performance antennas.

I have a CMM4 to mount on the tower as well. The CMM4 will provide timing
and power to the 6 x ePMP 1000's.

I have a 1500 kva UPS in my cabinet in the Tower headend that I want to use
to provide back up power to the CMM4 and the 6 x ePMP 1000s.

Questions

What should my power supply solution be for the CMM4? It came
with a 120 VAC to -56 VDC power supply, but

I am flirting with the distance limitation of 330 ft for the
Ethernet, so I will just run fiber up the tower to the CMM4 and solve that
problem, but what about my power? How do I size the wire, whould I try to
push -56 VDC power up the tower or am I better trying to get 120 VAC up the
tower? If I get 120 VAC up the tower, how can I put that on my UPS? Any
ideas on my wire gauges?

Thanks in advance!
