New research from Datamonitor is predicting that revenues from the deployment of wireless LANs in the education space is set to double in 2008 (compared to 2004 revenue), and the key factors for the upswing have to do with improvements in classroom efficiency and productivity. According to Datamonitor's brief, "WLANs in education: Improving classroom efficiency and productivity," there is a clear revenue growth opportunities for wireless LAN vendors in the education space.
