Bug ID: 12054 Summary: LCSAP: some parms not decoded; some displayed improperly Product: Wireshark Version: 2.1.x (Experimental) Hardware: All OS: All Status: CONFIRMED Severity: Minor Priority: Low Component: Dissection engine (libwireshark) Assignee: bugzilla-ad...@wireshark.org Reporter: ralf+wiresh...@bergs.biz Created attachment 14283 --> https://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=14283&action=edit includes capture and 3 screenshots Build Information: Version 2.1.0-1474-g1f0c9f6 (v2.1.0rc0-1474-g1f0c9f6 from master) Compiled (32-bit) with Qt 5.3.2, with WinPcap (4_1_3), with libz 1.2.8, with GLib 2.38.0, with SMI 0.4.8, with c-ares 1.9.1, with Lua 5.2, with GnuTLS 3.2.15, with Gcrypt 1.6.2, with MIT Kerberos, with GeoIP, with QtMultimedia, with AirPcap. Running on 32-bit Windows 7 Service Pack 1, build 7601, with locale C, with WinPcap version 4.1.3 (packet.dll version 4.1.0.2980), based on libpcap version 1.0 branch 1_0_rel0b (20091008), with GnuTLS 3.2.15, with Gcrypt 1.6.2, without AirPcap. Built using Microsoft Visual C++ 12.0 build 31101 -- If you look at the attached capture (lcsap.snoop) you will notice the following: - In the id-E-UTRAN-Cell-Identifier IE the parameter E-CGI.pLMNidentity is "decomposed" into MCC and MNC, but these two parameters are not displayed in a way that it becomes clear it's only a decomposition (see attachment "plmn.png"). I would expect that these two were displayed as collapsable items "below" its "parent" pLMNidentity. - The QoS parameters have no human-readable representation for "horizontal-Accuracy: 19" and "vertical-Accuracy: 0". It would be very helpful if a representation in "x.xxx m" was given. - The IMSI parameter is not decoded, just the hex representation is given. It would be nice if it could be displayed in a human-readable way (imsi.png). Thanks very much in advance for looking into this. Please let me know if I can in any way help. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
