Define "it" in "showing it as 802.3".  802.2 isn't the lowest level 
protocol on any LAN; there's always something below it, and, when it's 
running on top of Ethernet, the Ethernet header is shown as 802.3.

Are you saying that the 802.2 headers aren't being displayed?
