Hello wireshark team, I m sudhanshu gautam . I m engineering student.Last week I were in my college computer lab doing chating with my friend. suddenly our computer head sir came and close my chating and internet surfing also. I were doing some work that was related to the computer security.I were shocked by this kind of the behaviour of the sir. and same time our sir was also doing the chat. That day I were decide that I will sniff all the data that were passing from the college.Then i use the google for the best sniffer then I found the wireshark at Top most position. Then I download it for windows operating systems.
Then I start to read the tutorials that were related to the wireshark and I saw so many videos on the youtube.com.But I found that something I wnat to know but no boddy is abel to give me answer.so please tell me. let takes an example i have a three room house.Every room contains the pc that is connected with the switch(lan ). now i want to know that how i can sniff the chatting data of my other rooms persons. and how can write the others ip address in the wireshark that is runing on my system.
