== Testing WiTango 2000 on Red Hat 7.2 ==
on a standard RH7.2 box; below some details
kernel 2.4.7-10
glibc 2.2.4-13
Samba 2.2.1a-4
Apache 1.3.20-16
Pervasive.SQL-server-2000-redhat60
Tango2000-server-4-linux-47 [bundled with WiTango CD]

I have create a Tango dumb application [that perform an
Insert/Update/Delete versus P.SQL db] and all works fine; all
Pervasive.SQL libraries in /usr/local/psql/lib are September 1999 dated

After that I have verified this environment, I have installed, on same
Linux box,
Pervasive.SQL-7.90.-2000i.i386.rpm ; before to install this rpm, I have
stopped Pervasive.sql [mkded and sqlmgr daemons], Apache, Tango, Samba

After that SP3 is installed, when I try to run same dumb WiTango
application, I receive

File: search.taf
Position: RecordList
Class: DBMS
Main Error Number: 0

[iODBC][Driver Manager]Specified driver could not be loaded
IM003

File: search.taf
Position: RecordList
Class: DBMS
Main Error Number: 0

[iODBC][Driver Manager]libbtrvif.so: cannot open shared object file: No
such file or directory
00000

Please note that all Pervasive.SQL libraries in /usr/local/psql/lib are
July 2001 dated

Please note also that, with SP3 running, I'm able to use PCC [Pervasive
Control Center] to create new DB, new tables, etc

Anyone can suggest me what's is wrong [if I'm wrong] after that I have
installed P.Sql SP3?
Alex/
