I made some progress:
It seems that the path has to be spelled exactly the same, and is case
sensitive, even under Windows.
Now on to the next problem. I have the DLL, which contains the
Automation Server COM objects, but it is not on the list of COM objects.
I tried to follow archive directions for use of regsvr32.exe, but got an error
message "that DllRegisterServer entry point was not found."
