Ben and other js gurus,
I'm having a problem with witango losing a userreference value when I
use javascript to window.open() a new window, and then pass control
back to the originating window a close the popup.
In the new window, on a button click, a js function submits the form in
the new window, with a target back in a frame of the original window,
and closes that new window. Whether the windowName.close() is
done in the new window, or in the original window after control is
passed back, or a user clicks the X control, the next action in the
original window is likely to make its first tango debugging statement to
be an Assign of a new userreference value. (and the one I wanted to
preserve is still visible as a post or get argument in the next debugging
statement.)
Thanks for any help... Bill
