Brian,
Haven't used Fpro for a while but it should be as simple as selecting export, selecting which columns to export, and exporting the file in a comma delimited or teb delimited format from Filemaker Pro and then import into XLS - making sure that you establish the appropriate field types in the XLS import wizard to ensure that your number/date columns come in as you want them to.

FPro users with more experience in later versions may have a faster way but this will definitely get the job done.

There may be another export format that is preferable but either way it should only take you 10 minutes to do this yourself. If you get stuck, I'm happy to help as long as the FPro file can be opened with FPro version 5.

cheers
Garth

Sorry to bother the list with this but I know there are some Filemaker experts here. A client gave me a 400+ row membership database 8-9 cols. and expects me to port it over to Rbase. If I had an XLS or CSV file I could do it no problem.

Do the FMP gurus know if FMP will export to other formats? Would someone be willing to do the conversion for me?

I know its asking a lot.

Thanks in advance.
