As usual I worked this out as soon as I hit Send..
I should have been looking at the Encoding of the Variable in the HTML page, not when
being written in the Variable
This works fine:
<@VAR Name="MARKETPLACEPOPUPMENU" Scope="DOMAIN" Encoding="METAHTML">
Whereas this doesn't - but does work with a fully-qualified ACTION="xxx" URL:
<@VAR Name="MARKETPLACEPOPUPMENU" Scope="DOMAIN" Encoding="NONE">
