I have Witango Server 5 on a Windows 2000 box. Sometimes, when I am working on the server, logged in with the same administrative login and password that the Witango server service uses, the Witango service stops at the moment I log off. Sometimes it does not. There is nothing in the logs that shows either a normal or abnormal shutdown, but the service has to be restarted.
I have modified the settings in the Win2000 services console to restart on a failure, and that part seems to work (and fills the role that ServerWatcher used to). But I also don't want users to be interrupted for that one minute. Does anyone have any experience with or suggestions for this? Thanks.
