Wierd. I have a form for one of my sites that asks for some info.
Lately I have been getting this form filled out by an individual and
all the characters are coming to me as ASCII. I searched for some of
the ASCII codes and it appears to be Russian. Normally this would not
concern me, but the individual fills out the form several times a
day, sometimes in English on an English keyboard, and sometimes I get
the ASCII.
The form is a request to exchange links. It asks for some info and a
URL where our link is located. In that <@ARG>, they just fill in
their domain name. Usually when we get this type of request, we check
to see if our link is up first before we add their link to our pages.
Our link is never listed and we just ignore the request. But we have
been getting this form filled out more frequently on a daily basis,
and now it is being filled out with ASCII. All the requests are
coming from the same domain -- zzn.com which is a web service company.
Any heads up on what is going on? Am I just getting paranoid?
The following is a snip from the <@ARG name>
