>From the Tk2 days I have the habit of loading variables I use to populate
drop downs etc into user scope.
In the past my apps have run on machines I control and they have plenty of
RAM and have not been that busy.
Now I am starting to have these apps hosted where many witango sites may be
running.
So it has been suggested that I load variables into the domain scope.
What are the possible pitfalls?
How do movement from HTTP to HTTPS and back effect these issues?
Should I keep using the if statement at the top of critical tafs that look
for the existence of one of the variables and reloads them from tcf if it is
empty?
