No, that text is produced from the client (plugin/cgi) but is not
editable outside of it. That error is not an IIS error, since IIS is
talking to the client correctly. There is a file
miscfiles/clienterror.html which does show when the client is not
functioning properly, but I do not believe that this is the error you
are referencing. Again, I would suggest that editing of these error
messages would be a good feature for 6.0. I should note that I could be
mistaken here. There are sometimes backdoor ways of changing these
texts. You should direct your inquiry directly to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Load Balancing is a good idea. Budget doesn't currently allow.

I should have been more specific.

If the Witango Service is down, we receive this error:

Client/Plug-in Error
Unable to connect to the application server. Check the server process is
running.

I think this would be an IIS function. Maybe not. Is there anyway to
modify
this?

Steve,

I do not believe you can edit those responses in any way. If the server
is down, there is an html error from the client - which I believe you
can edit - but if the server is shutting down or starting up, I believe
the errors are embedded in the app. This would be a good request for
6.0.

If it is vital that your site(s) keep responding across service
restarts, you might want to consider load balancing.

Subject: Witango-Talk: HTML During Witango Restarts

I am using Windows 2003 Web Edition.

Is there a way to serve a html page that would display while the Witango
service is stopping and starting?

I would like to serve a page that indicates to "be patient as the site
is
restarting" and include a meta redirect that refreshes in 30 seconds.

Thanks
