We started out with JBoss and migrated to Tomcat, with which we are very pleased. However, we do not have a particularly heavy load, and so you might need a more robust J2EE server for your application.

But for development, Tomcat is just great. We're using the latest version of Tomcat.

PS, we're just running Tomcat for the J2EE stuff. No Apache involved.

OK, we want to try the Java functionality of Witango 5.5. Has anyone got it to work, and if so, what do you suggest for the version of Apache and Tomcat to make this work or is there some other, more optimal, configuration to use with Witango? Thanks for your help!
