The iodbc driver manager has crashed while trying to connect to the database via the odbc database driver. Make sure that you are using the latest versions of the odbc driver manager and the odbc database driver.
Install the latest iODBC driver manager from iodbc.org or the openlink iODBC SDK. The default version on OS X is ancient.
OS X 10.4 (Tiger) does however have the latest iodbc pre loaded (finally).
