I have a table that has the table id set to auto increment. I have 3 records that the id is set to 99997, 99998, 99999 and the largest id beneath that is 55. When I add a new record the id is set to100000. Is there a way I can have it set to 56 instead? In the other DB I was using, each auto increment field had a counter and this wasn't a problem.
