No, GNU GPL does not require you to publish your source code. What it 
does require is that your code must also be licensed under GPL and that 
in turn means that anybody who has your software (the binaries of it) 
can request you for the source code and you will have to send it (for a 
nominal fee, if you wish).

If you run your own webapp based on Wt, and don't give away binaries, 
you don't need to publish any sources either (this is called the web 
services loophole of GPL).
