ExtJS's official point of view seems to be: let's pretend ext-2.0.2.
with its LGPL license, never happened.

No, currently not. The problem with ExtJS has been frequent licensing
changes (went from BSD to LGPL to GPL) and support issues (in all
kinds of combinations, there are many caveats for using the ExtJS
widgets).

We are focussing on providing all features of ExtJS in native Wt widgets.
