I disagree.

Autotools do not work for Windows with Visual C++, Intel C++, etc.
CMake does. The Wt wiki and the docs in the Wt tarball document how to
run CMake. If you need further information about CMake, I suggest you
take a look at my CMake slides:

I cannot speak for EmWeb but Trolltech lives on licenses only, not
services. I'd say licenses do pay the rent.
