If that is the only thing stopping you, can you post a feature request for this? Implementing resize should be straight forward. I'm not sure if the limitation of multiple Ext::Dialogs still exists, I would rather believe that the documentation is outdated. But they do are always modal, so there will only be one of them (the latest added) active at a time.
