Hi, ExtJS 4.0 has just been released and the license is compatible with Wt's:
- Commercial Ext JS if using commercial Wt - ExtJS Open Source Exception for Development ( http://www.sencha.com/legal/open-source-faq/open-source-license-exception-for-development/ ) if using Wt under GPLv2 (or GPLv3, in case that license is ever adopted) Every time this question is asked the answer is the same: Wt's native widgets are improving, there are more and more native widgets, wrapping ExtJS would require a lot of work and you'd rather spend your time improving Wt, etc But the fact is ExtJS keeps providing more and more great widgets (and it's OK: Sencha has a small army of people working on ExtJS, and they only do widgets, so they have a lot of time to make ExtJS superb) and the gap between Wt's and ExtJS' widgets is growing bigger and bigger. So: any chance WtExt gains ExtJS 4 support any time soon? -- Pau Garcia i Quiles http://www.elpauer.org (Due to my workload, I may need 10 days to answer) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WhatsUp Gold - Download Free Network Management Software The most intuitive, comprehensive, and cost-effective network management toolset available today.
