I don't know what are your needs for trying to compile Wt under Windows or
Cygwin, but I can offer you another solution : just use a virtualized linux
under a wmvare.
This is the solution use for several monthes, because I knew it is a pain to
have to adapt linux stuff to windows.
Through a samba share, I edit and manage all my files with windows, and I
have a few ssh shells to compile and execute. Of course, I use my Firefox
under Windows to access my Wt apps.
It's free, very easy to install and not resource intensive since you don't
need to install graphical applications and libs. Just a bare ubuntu, gcc and
you are done. No more windows-adaptation problems.
Just my advice.
