Hello Bastien, It is most likely that the JavaScript in the browser causes the delay.
A hint: Are you adding many widgets to an exising widget? This will cause a lot of JS methods to be invoked, which is slow. Try to create the parent widget and all of its children at the same time; this will only require one JS call to insert all widgets, and is normally much faster and creates less bandwidth. (e.g. by putting all the widgets in the ScrollArea in a container) There's nothing in Wt as of now that allows you to easily imlpement dynamic loading yourself; I was thinking of adding a widget that fires a signal when it becomes visible (or almost visible) through scrolling but that hasn't been implemented yet.
