There is a problem, the removed line:
tex2jax: {inlineMath: [["$","$"],["\\(","\\)"]]}
Is necessary to parse in line math formula.
I apply your patch, but stop work this line:
"When $a \ne 0$, there are..."
And also, not changed in that problem.
I thing that there is a Bug in Wt framework with third parties scripts.
Wt framework seams not "instance()->require" JavaScripts very well.
