Thanks for the response. I apologize for the delay in my reply, as I've
been busy working on other areas.
Yes, my PayPal account is set up. I get what looks like a valid response,
just not in the order my PayPal interface expects. I do get a PayPal logon
page into the test area.
I guess I'm a little confused, as it's not clear to me how the connection
could be made without the ability to set the sslverify path or file for the
ssl connection. Perhaps OpenSSL is working differently on Unix and Windows
machines... I did see some troubling differences when investigating the ssl
connections.
I'll look into this a bit more and check back in. I've just upgraded to wt
3.3.4 and I'll see what behavior I get without my hack. Are the new methods
(setSSLVerify...) in that release?
