Sorry, lost track of this email until I found Joe’s email
today on the topic as well. The issue here is that the DIFX team supports
the DIFX .wixlib not us. That’s why it isn’t part of the WiX
toolset proper. Dennis, if you add the DIFX .wixlib on the command line
to light.exe in version 3 does it work? WiX v3 is *supposed* to be
able to load v2 .wixlib files correctly. This would be a good test of
that. <smile/> From:

Mensching I think there is a bug open on this issue already. It seems
that the .wixlib is not getting added to the Driver extension. I'll look
at it this weekend. From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Dennis Roy I
get an error LGHT0094 : Unresolved reference to symbol
‘CustomAction:MSIProcessDrivers’ in section
‘Fragment:’. When trying run light on my project. The
command line I’m running is light –ext WixDifxAppExtension
–out install.msi *.wixobj . I’m using version 3.0.2015.
Any suggestions as to what I’m doing wrong. Thanks Dennis |
