Hi
I need help on RegistrySearch element in Wix3.
I am trying to search for the previous version of my Application by reading
the registry path value.
<Property Id="OLDVER">
<RegistrySearch Id='IsOldUltraPresent' Type='raw'
Root='HKLM' Key='Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App
Path\Application.exe' Name='Path'/>
</Property>
<Condition Message="Previous Version Exists of [ProductName].">
"<![CDATA["OLDVER<>"""]]>"
</Condition>
I am getting the following error
error LGHT0204 : ICE03: Bad conditional string; Table: LaunchCondition,
Column: Condition, Key(s): ""OLDVER<>""""
I am not able to figure out the proper format for CDATA. Please help.
