This lovely CustomAction resides in a merge module I use in my installer. 1) This CA comes with a condition that its directory="". Does anyone know how to keep that from happening (generating the merge module via Visual Studio)? I can always manually remove the condition, but if I could remove the condition from the module all together it would be great.
2) I manually cleared the condition via Orca and got this CA to run once, but it ran too early to pick up the change I was hoping it would find. Later in the log, after the change, it was called again, but skipped because its condition was false. I removed the condition. Any ideas as to what might be happening here.
