Hi guys Ive read alot of other posts regarding upgrading but ive yet to find any information relavent to my situation, so if anyone knows of any threads and have the links to them then please post. Here is what i want to do
I need my MSI to check for an existing install of the software ie. 5.2.1, now it does this fine, however i also need it to check for the existing directory and then pass that information to a variable that the installer then sets the installer to install to. Basically i need the upgrade to install to the directory that the previous installation resides in?
