Hi Bryan, Well it's the kind of technology you use a lot at the beginning of a project when you create the main part of the installation but then eventually update once in a while for new files so it's kind of expected not to remember everything...
Personally, stuff quickly comes back, especially after looking at a previous project... I'm not sure this is the kind of technology where knowing all the tags/attributes by heart is useful... (now if someone wants to come up with a cool UI to design WiX files...
