Is it possible to add custom attributes to the Directory element? I can add
custom attributes to other elements like Features, Components, etc. Maybe
its something with my schema? I tried the following but nothing worked:
<xs:element name="Directory">
<xs:complexType>
<xs:attribute type="xs:string" name="NIPath">
<xs:annotation>
<xs:documentation>
dsfasdfasdfasfsfsdf
</xs:documentation>
</xs:annotation>
</xs:attribute>
</xs:complexType>
</xs:element>
Another way I tried:
<xs:attribute type="xs:string" name="NIPath">
<xs:annotation>
<xs:documentation>
Test
</xs:documentation>
<xs:appinfo>
<xse:parent namespace="http://schemas.microsoft.com/wix/2006/wi";
ref="Directory" />
</xs:appinfo>
</xs:annotation>
</xs:attribute>
Any thoughts?
