Hi all, Searching WiX-User mailing list, I have not found answers to my questions. Apology if it is a duplicate.
Working through the WiX patching help on "Using Purely WiX", I have two questions: 1. List of ComponentRef in patch.wxs file I have about 30k components in my offical build, new componets added in the upgrade distributions, Do I have to list all of them from the upgrade distribution under Fragment / PatchFamily section in patch.wxs? 2. Replacing patches When using Patch Creation Properties, there is a XML element ReplacePatch indicatig which earlier patches the new patch supersedes. Now in purely WiX method, I can not find equivalent. How does the new patch know what earlier patches to supersede?
