Nevermind on the ARP stuff. I defined the values and they just work! Am still wondering what is the proper thing to do in regards to registering the install of the product though. Thanks, Dave

I looked at my old .msi files build with VS2008 before wix and did not see any special registry entries for that so think .msi did it for me. I see no comparable registry entry after my WIX install however and am wondering if I need to explicitly register one for my application.
